Hardware - DIN rail XSY2123-03 perforation — DIN rail (35 mm standard, perforated) used to mount modular devices such as breakers, terminal blocks and relays inside a distribution cabinet. The perforated type screws straight onto a back plate with self-tapping screws, so no separate bracket is needed. Judge it on three points: rail width (35 mm), material thickness (which sets how much weight it can carry) and whether it is galvanised; choose the thicker gauge when the devices are numerous or heavy. Keep the rail level during installation and push each device along it after clipping to confirm it is fully seated, rather than caught on one edge. Deburr and touch up the cut end of a shortened rail, otherwise the cut rusts first. Add support points when the total device weight is high, so the middle of the rail cannot sag and cause poor contact. Check length and hole pitch before ordering.
